The Suffolk Accident Rescue Service provides medical care at the scene of emergencies. The service trains and equips participating doctors to help achieve this.

SARS is a voluntary organisation, registered as a charity, and covers Suffolk and neighbouring counties. SARS was established in 1972 and is an affiliated group member of the British Association for Immediate Care (BASICS).

SARS doctors are unpaid and respond to emergencies on a voluntary basis. Our members are trained to provide the highest standard of emergency medical care to victims of accidents and other medical emergencies. SARS is a member of the Network for East of England Accident Rescue Schemes (NEEARS)

The website module that ran 'SARS Info' has developed an error and is no longer supported.

All the information held on this system has been transfered to the NEEARS website.

I will be working on upgrading the SARS website soon.
