Welcome to the SARS website
The Suffolk Accident Rescue Service is a charitable organisation that provides medical care at the scene of emergencies, providing assistance to the East of England Ambulance Service in Suffolk and neighbouring counties. The service trains and equips participating doctors to help achieve this.
SARS doctors are unpaid and respond to emergencies on a voluntary basis. Our members are trained to provide the highest standard of emergency medical care to victims of accidents and other medical emergencies. SARS is a member of the Network for East of England Accident Rescue Schemes (NEEARS).
SARS is registered as a charity. SARS was established in 1972 and is an affiliated group member of the British Association for Immediate Care (BASICS).

Information for SARS members:
The database is now being integrated with the main website. It will be a while until it is functional. Until further notice please use the link at the TOP of the page and not the link in the left hand menu to access the database. That is - please use the separate website (at www.sars999.info/datab) and not the database that might appear on this webpage. (I hope this is clear if not please do contact me - Tim) |
|
The website is undergoing a significant upgrade (to Tikiwiki 4.0) meaning that our website might not look quite right for a while. The upgrade will enable a lot of new features for our website.
Several sections of the website need a 'tidy up', particularly the forum section. Everything should look a lot better very soon. Phase II of the upgrade is to merge the callout database back into the website. |

This is a website under ongoing development.
For SARS members the database has yet to be fully integrated with our new website. Please use www.sars999.info/datab until further notice. Please note: 1) When logged in every page has an 'eye' if you click this you mark the page to be watched and you will be emailed if it changes. You can mark anything in the website in this way including discussion forums, news, phonebooks, literally anything. If you want to keep updated use this function. 2) There is a bug tracker - you can email me directly or enter any bugs you find on here and I will be automatically emailed. It also lists any known bugs or problems with the website so you can check here first to see if the problem is already known about. Tim. |
